Hi I'm Sofia!

I'm originally from Mexico and currently a student at SCAD pursuing a B.F.A in Advertising and Branding. 
SCAD has given me the necessary tools to thrive in a career in advertising I've learned how to explore my creativity to the maximum and fully master Adobe programs such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects.

I'm a full hearted comedian, ever since I can remember I've been tagged as the funny one and I make sure I can live up to those expectations. Before SCAD I never realized I could use my performing arts/comic side with advertising but it turns out it's precisely for those qualities that I'm able to develop original and out of the box concepts. Under my work tab I discuss the method I use to create my concepts a little further, but it all comes down to using the tool of comedy and improvisation. 

Now let's get down to business. Work wise I'm someone that works very well in team environments and can also demonstrate leadership qualities and responsibilities that come with each position. I am a creative so sometimes I may space out and get lost in my own world but I never let it interfere with any deadlines or work related matters. Writing everything down and being organized allows me to always make sure I stay on top with my priorities. I've always enjoyed going abroad so I can learn new cultures, societies and even languages- so adapting to a new city or country is something I've fully mastered during the past years.
